Jenna Kratzel

About

Jenna is an Artist whose journey began with dance and modelling and has evolved to see her now regarded as one of the up and coming screen actors to watch in Australia.

Jenna grew up in Canberra and was drawn to the stage, and catwalk at a very young age, taking part in local fashion shows and dance classes from five years old.

In 2012 Jenna moved to Sydney and continued to expand her skill set with full time training, graduating from the Village Performing Arts Centre with a Certificate IV in Performing Arts.

During her time at VPAC, and under the guidance of David Cuthbertson (Director of The Actors Assembly), Jenna’s passion for the arts extended to include a solid foundation in drama and this would begin to shape her career.

Since then, Jenna has combined her regular work as a dancer and model with increasingly covetable roles in Film and TV and has furthered her training at NIDA, The Actor’s Station, TAFTA and TAFTA USA.

Her screen credits so far include the role of Kelly in ABC TV series Hiding (under the direction of Shawn Seet, Grant Brown and Tori Garrett) and Deadly Women where she portrayed the life and tragic death of Dystiny Myers, as well as television advertising campaigns for brands such as Hungry Jacks, Destination NSW and Subway.

In 2014 Jenna played the role of Emily in the 15-minute short film Dario that premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival and won “Best Global Comedy Short” at the Arizona International Film Festival. It has also been screened at Palm Springs Shortfest as well as St Kilda Film Festival.

Jenna also recently had the opportunity to dance her way across TV screens all over Australia when she was cast as a Rockette in Channel 7’s telemovie Peter Allen: Not The Boy Next Door.
